STEM for Her fosters STEM interest in girls and young women. We provide field trips, scholarships, speakers, unique programs and curricula, and resources for clubs and after school groups in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Kaitlyn McGrath is a Meteorologist for WUSA9 and a STEM for Her board member. You can watch her forecasts Monday through Friday at noon and 5:30 pm. She takes pride in being responsible for breaking down critical weather information and relaying it to viewers. Kaitlyn enjoys helping people plan their day and keeping the community safe when dangerous weather conditions occur.
